Hi there,

Here's the story: I have been redesigning a site for a customer who uses Miva 4 ( I think the version is 4.2301) from an ecommerce hosting package. they have been using the Credit Card Payment with Simple Validation option with Cybersource as their payment gateway. What they were doing was getting their batched orders and entering in the credit card numbers with their Cybersource vitural terminal. They don't want to do that anymore, since their found out they can also have those numbers processed online through Cybersource.

What I did was choose the Cybersource ICSv2 Payment Services box in the Payment Configuration section and filled in the appropriate info-- Merchant ID, URL to ICSv2 Gateway and the rest of the info and clicked Update.

I tried buying something and the error message I got was:

Unable to authorize payment: Commerce method "ICS2" is unsupported."

If anyone has an idea what I should do, I sure would appreciate the help. This is my first time working with Miva.

thanks!

Contact your host - they simply need to install the Cybersource commerce libraries on this domain, that's all. Should take a whole 30 seconds to set up.

You need to contact your host and ask them to install the ICS2 commerce library.

That would be different than theCyberSource ICSv2 Payment Services module in the Admin of my client's cart, right? Because that module is current set as "Active".

thanks!

Yes, The cybersource payment gateway requires a server side component called a commerce library.

You're host will need to install it.
