Module Install Problem

I am having trouble installing a truxoft module (MMUBAT). The installation process keeps timing out before it is complete. Any ideas?

Only fix will be to have your host bump up the timeout, I recommend at least 300 seconds from the default 90.

New problem now trying to install MMUBAT. Now I am getting the following error message:

Makes me wish now that I had paid to have this "simple" module installed.

Well, have you tried getting support via Truxoft's support mechanisms?

My guess is that your server is setup incorrectly and its causing permission issues, but...best take that up with the developer he knows best...

I don't think it has to do with reading the do***entation... In this case, the errors you copied here indicate that the server is trying to create some files and directories and gets "permission denied" response from the server itselt. This means that the server is most likely misconfigured and you do not have permission to create files and/or directories in the directories set up for your own store. Contact your host, as this shouldn't really be happening - you should always have 100% control and access to your own mivadata, html and cgi-bin directories. If your host is artificially restricting access, or if they have misconfigured your account, maybe even look for a new host (shameless plug - see one in signature below) if they can't resolve the issue for you.

Hmmm, it appears MIVA's word filtering system is a bit overzealous and censors "d o c u m e n t a t i o n" (I put the spaces in here on purpose) as a "bad word"... because of three consecutive letters that they apparently don't allow in the forums. Hope this explains what do***entation is doing in my message above.
