Phones/Emails At Miva - What is going on?

Is there something going on at Miva that i need to know about? I have tried to email my sales guy, Jon, and it bounced back and I have been trying to call all morning and keep getting weird phone tones and signals or being automatically diconnected before i even get to talk to a human.

I need some urgent partner support and cannot get ahold of anyone there including Jon...help!!!

Their phones have been messed up ever since they outsourced to India, I get disconnected half the time, the other half I get told to upgrade to Merchant 5. I haven't had any bounced emails though.

Email to Patrick has been bouncing since he left MIVA a few weeks ago, but I think that's been redirected to Jon now.

When you call MIVA's support (India), do you get "Mike" every time you call, too? Even if a girl answers? I found that part to be very amusing - they are all "Mike" in India, no matter their gender... and apparently don't have any other names. Kind of hard to find "no, not you, the OTHER Mike I spoke with yesterday" when you have an issue. ;-)

I am getting calls and emails, so not sure why there would be disconnects or bounced emails. Regardless, I am going to forward this on to Q to see if he can pinpoint an answer.

I am having trouble with the CA phone, not the support phone. I have tried Jon's line, and the sales line and nothing...his emails bounce too.

No. Captain Picard retired. Q really did stay with the Continuum. He's still roaming creating havoc. Apparently he's found Miva.

Ok, Holly, Q and I haven't been able to figure out anything that's wrong. I have no problems dialing into the office from my cell, and have gotten several external emails.

I was merely making an analogy. We really did hijack this thread. And I have to say it was done amazingly well. I was very impressed. However - according to our forum rules, we're don't really want to encourage Hijacking thread. :D

Oh, I don't think we had any problem seeing the analogy, but that's how we work (anyone want to disagree here?) That's one thing we all loved (okay, a few couldn't make the turns when we'd go off course) about the old forum. It allowed everyone to be creative.

Meanwhile, I've not tried to call or e-mail, so I don't know if it's working or not.

Today Miva support told one of our customers that his product database was corrupted and that's why none of his products were showing up but that he should upgrade to version 5 because it's more stable. What he actually had was an availability group with all of his products in it.

Let's try not to turn this into a "bash MIVA Support" thread. If you want to bring up some issues or concerns, by all means do, but try to keep them less emotional.

In the meantime, David, Jim will be getting in touch with you. We just need to get some information from you and will look up your issue.
