Cannot find the *.dat file after exporting it

I looked in almost every directory and cannot find the file that is supposedly exported.
This is the address it shows: Merchant5/s01/export/June2006.dat
Can someone help with this:

It's going to be in your mivadata directory. The fact that you have plugins in the url means your mivadata directory may be in a very unusual location since I've only seen two hosts that have that plugins visible. Look for a directory called plugins/MivaMerchants/data/ or something like that if I can recall from memory, then the rest should be the path that you see.

features
lib
modules
site
templates

not in any of those....
I just went to : Export Products To Flat File
in the Miva Admin area... maybe I have to do something prior to trying to export this file?

Look in /var/www/ for something other than html, it may be at that level named data, htsdata or mivadata.

I do have this:
/var/www/cgi-bin/plugins/Mivamerchants
but no files are there.
no other possibilities there..

Try changing to /usr/local/ and see if there's a /usr/local/miva or /usr/local/data or something along those lines.
