Emporium Plus Volume Pricing

We use the Emporium Plus volume pricing module. We also like to put the base price into the default miva price field so it shows up on category pages, etc. We occationally have a problem with one price (miva price vs. quantity one volume price) getting changed and not the other. The quantity price overrides, so the customer may not get the price displayed on the category page. Is there a way to scan for discrepancies between these two prices? Or, better yet, can you insert a token into the quantity one price level of the volume pricing to use the miva price?

I am not sure if there is a way to scan the prices. If you are using VC's Category Page Templates you can show the volume price on the category pages.
