Is there an easy way to create attribute templates via an upload feature? We use a lot of drop down menus on our site and have to manually input all of the choices one at a time. It takes an awfully long time this way. Thanks.

Yes and no.
If you want to use an import module, you need to create the templates first, then you can assign them to products:

However, you could use StoreMan and simplify the entire process of building products, attributes, related items, etc.

Sorry, but the Attribute Import/Export module requires that you already have the templates created in the store.

Thanks. I purchased this module a while back, but I cannot see how it can be used to create attribute templates. Unless I am missing something, it appears to have the ability to import hard-coded attributes directly to products. But I want to be able to quickly create attribute templates for things like quantity, typestyles, ink colors, etc. Check out the page below for an example. All of the drop-downs are templates that are used on many products. That way, if the prices change I only have to change them in the template, not in each product.
Example:

As I said, it does not create the templates.

While reading your message I must have skipped the word TEMPLATE.
Templates are used for several products. So when assigning a template to mayn products you can change the template and all assigned products will have the changes applied ... I guess you knew this already.
In case all products have different attributes use excel to create all the attributes line by line and then import using Bill's module.
Just create single attributes and upload and assign them to your products.

I am fairly new (read inexperienced!) to Miva and just purchased Bill's module about a week back. Once I got the hang of it, I had over 3000 products up and running in less than two hours. Not bad! If you can handle cut and paste, I'd go for it.
