Hi,
Does anyone know of a calendar module? I'd like to implement functionality on my site where users can see a list of events in or around the town where we are based. The module should have an admin page accessible from within miva's admin panel where new events are posted easily.
Thanks,
HMB
I haven't seen a module before that would add a calendar, but it should be fairly easy to do. However, there are other ways.
With the new Google Calendar (http://calendar.google.com), you can manage your events in their system and get the code to display the calendar on your website. (http://www.google.com/googlecalendar/event_publisher_guide.html)
They also have an API available (http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/calendar.html), so you could possibly find a developer who could integrate it for you into a module for your admin.
Anyone else need a calendar module? Maybe we can get some demand going...

scotsscripts.com as a free calendar...though its written in Mivascript, it (as with the other options) doen't tie into Merchant however.
Since this is MM5, a PHP based option (as Jimmy eluded to) would probably be just as easy to intergrate, if that is your desire.

There is one at http://www.scotsscripts.com/index.mvc?page=free that's been around for ages.
