1. Can we put some sticky messages in each forum, answering common questions. So that, client doesn't end up asking same question again n again.

2. Can we start new forum for known bugs and reported bugs in miva5.
(with miva release#)

Yes, that's an excellent idea on the MM5 bug reporting forum, then people won't waste hours trying to debug a known issue.

Maybe an FAQ archive would be better. With so many people and so many common issues, the first 50 posts would be stickies.

Why not a single sticky inviting them to search first?

What ever happened to the bug tracking forum James Harrell said was being developed?

Even if it was restricted within the Partners section, it would be nice as David said, to at least have some reference to it and be able to see what updates/fixes/additional bugs were being tracked and their progress.

Same rings true for Empresa versions.

Excellent idea! One of the powers of a forum is in its search, and I always search a forum before I post.

To be honest, I had a lot of conversations during the past few days and can't remember if I said this to the group or individuals. Bear with me, if I am repeating myself.

We are planning on creating a "Common Questions" Thread to "Look here first" for almost all of the forums.

As far as bugs go. Well it is still being planned for, but at the moment we are making a few decisions regarding it.

Thanks!

Not sure if this has been discussed, but I know I'd love to see what other people are doing with Miva for stores. How about a Showcase forum?

Something a little less formal I was going for. People just posting a link to their stores, maybe brief explanation of modules used, or cool features.

There's also a shopping directory at:

That's the good thing about the Galleria, it usually goes into what modules the person used and how they did the look and feel for each monthly site.

Well, there are plenty of great sites. Our profiles section does explain which mods are used, etc.

If anybody ask for review for new store page, we can always ask them to give info abt hosting and modules , time spent etc .. and their recommendations etc etc.

I am using miva 5. Is there a way to search this site for the store profiles that use MIVA 5?
thanks
