PayPal error

We've had several customers call us lately with an error at checkout when using PayPal. We haven't been able to reproduce the error for ourselves, but the customers always get a 10428 error with the message that the handling total is invalid. We are using PayPal Website Payments Pro for PayPal payments only. Any ideas what's going on here?

The module has a bug in it that is making discounts, miscellaneous fees, coupons etc handling charges. When those line items have a negative value, paypal.com figures there must be a problem (since handling/shipping is never negative value). There was a thread on this awhile back and Rick did not have a fix date. You can switch to Gilligan's paypal module which apparently does not have the bug or you can discontinue the use of any discounts or coupons.
