is there an offline payment method?

Hi there,

Just wondering if there is a way to setup an offline payment method, so that the order can be placed in the system and some acc. details and ref number can be supplied to the customer so they can pay that way??? or anything similar to that. Any help would be most appreciated

One way is to use a module such as Weiland's Purchase Order Plus. You can adapt it to a wide range of offline payments e.g. we use it for payment by wire transfer, by direct bank deposit (customer goes into their bank and deposits the funds) or by bank Internet transfer.
