Category Tree Template not showing up on Pages

I have created a custom category tree and want it included on all pages (search, category list, etc.). I have included this item on each page but it's not showing up. The search page doesn't show it at all and the category list page displays "Code Name".

Help. What am I doing wrong?

Without knowing what you have placed where is which template ; people can only guess.

Custom Tree - hmmm you made a static tree ????
You put it hmmm in the Cat Tree field in admin and wiped out the dynamic template ???
You made sure you did NOT unassign the category tree item from your templates ???

Thanks for guessing. I'm new to Miva so I'm certainly not familiar with all of the terms. I'll do my best to better describe the issue...

Custom Tree - I replaced the default category tree with a template. I did this through the admin (not each individual page). I want this global.

Not sure what you mean about dynamic template???

I did not unassign the category tree item from my templates.
