Category problems - every product shows in all categories?

Has anyone ever experienced a similar problem? Despite having the correct 'Assigned' boxes checked for products in the categories which they belong (under the 'categories' section, 'products' tab) - the 'View Store' button is displaying every product in my inventory, no matter which category I click on.

Perhaps an error in the CTGY pages code? I am still getting the hang of the Miva-specific code and page editing capabilities.

On the CTGY page template, click on the Items link at the top. What do you have assigned for items, e.g. is sitemap assigned on that page? It should not be.

We too are seeing this problem on one of our customer's stores as well. Sitemap is NOT assigned for that page under items for our customer.

PROBLEM RESOLVED: Under Category Product List Layout It was selected as Product List layout instead of Category List Layout. Thanks to Jim for the quick fix!
