Does anybody have htaccess functioning within Miva Mia on Windows?

I'm using WAMP Server and htaccess is working for all other local sites, but it doesn't function from within the Miva Mia directory. A search didn't turn up any other threads, can anybody shed some light? Thanks!

I might have answered my own question...I found this thread (http://extranet.mivamerchant.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3922) that says it's not possible.
