Miva Empresa 3.97 on Windows 2003 server

:) Can I host Miva Empresa 3.97 on a Windows 2003 server? I have done the installs, but when I try to run the admin I get page not found. I have an 4.12 Merchant. We are switching hosting companies and I am trying to move the merchant and get it work on the new box? Any thoughts?

Question is, why would you want to?

Empresa 3.97 and Merchant 4.12 are old, outdated and no longer supported bu MIVA. Nor would I host it on Windows...but thats me.

You're new host should have done the Empresa install for you, and even moved the store data for you.

We certainly would have.

However, - you have not said what exacty the problem is.

Make sure the .mv extension shows up in IIS under configuration on the Home Directory tab.

Make sure the path to Restrict Scripts to the following directory and below is exactly the same as the Local Path on the Home Directory tab.

On 2003 servers, you also need to add the System Extension in IIS.

Thank you for your help! I have gotten everything to work except the payment processor. I keep getting the message Unable to authorize payment. when i try to use the ICS2 payment. I tried to follow any and all instructions that I have found. Any thoughts on why this would not be working? Thanks,

Hi Julia,

Have you gotten the ecert package from CyberSource and created the certs? Is that the entire error you are getting? Do you have the ics2api.dll installed in the System32 folder?
