Moving 1/2 categories from left to right

How do you move half of the Cattree & category names from left side of storefront to the right side of the page,another words another column.So I will have cats on lt.text in middle.cats on rt.In admin I went to pages cat displays .Or does something have to be added in global header & footer?I'm a pure newb to all this,but tru the help of this forum,came a long long way.Read something about adding a align & wrap the ones that you want to go on the riight.Well I;ve searched all over Admin to see if I could see the same thing that I see in the view source for http://ladylusteroticcandy.com/mm5/merchant.mvc .Cant find the source code for all the cats that have the http miva locations & name of cats in the Miva Admin.In advance Thanks to all .

Without resorting to implementing a static category tree (hard coded names and links) this would be very tricky to accomplish and would involve setting a counter, a break point based on the count, and then using CSS to position the two sets of links in their proper place (meaning the rest of the site should be created via CSS).

However, I would ask Why?... this type of display is very confusing to customers...why are some categories here, and some there? One of the fundimental rules of good user design is to keep like navigation together and treated the same. Meaning don't have one category name in red, another in blue...or one cat name on left, another on the right.
