MIVA Synchro and QB Pro/Premier 2006

One bit of suggestion I do have, based on the number of calls and tickets and emails we get every week asking about it... and mivacentral.com doesn't address these issues at all which creates a bit of confusion:

1. which version of MIVA Merchant is this compatible with (v2, v3, v4, v4C, v5/mivaSQL, v5/mySQL, etc)

2. mivacentral.com doesn't show "QuickBooks 2006" as a compatible option, yet - might be an idea to update that page

Thank you Remik I realize the smallbusiness.miva.com and mivacentral have not been updated yet. This just came down today and I wanted to get the word out asap. We will have the webistes updated shortly. I am sorry for any confusion I may have caused.

No problem at all, just wanted to point out that both mivacentral.com and smallbusiness.miva.com list Synchro and its own version, but there's not a word anywhere which version of MIVA Merchant it is compatible with (ie: a list of "prerequisites" or a "compatibility list" would be nice). This is probably THE most asked question, over and over, as potential Synchro buyers have no idea whether it will work with their particular store version.

When will the bug in Synchro for version 5 be fixed that causes you to get a fatal error at checkout if the Synchro module is active?

When will the bug in Synchro for version 5 be fixed that causes you to get a fatal error at checkout if the Synchro module is active?

With our current published version of Synchro, 1.63, the Synchro 5 module has a bug related to customers creating or editing their account info. So this will cause a runtime error during checkout.

However, just a few days after releasing the Synchro 1.63 package, we released an updated Synchro 5 module separately. See here:

So immediately after installing the Synchro 1.63 package, the user has to go in and update their Synchro 5 module in the domain with this new one.

This might be a good Domain Notification to add to stores with Syncro Connector installed so they know they need to do this.

Any plans for MIVA software like this to have an auto-update or streaming update feature like MM5 does?

Are there plans to add that ability to map to the new MPN field? My client uses a custom field for this now and would sure like to free that up. At the moment I don't see a mapping for it in the QB fields window in Synchro.:)

I am sorry no. MIVA has nothing currently in the pipeline that will add this feature in Synchro.
