I was looking to create a module. I looked on the web site and only found some instruction on how to plan out a module and, though it was very helpful, it did not say anything really on the technical aspect of creating a module. I have dome some mvc files to learn the script language, but I have been unable to find any tutorials or documents pertaining to how to move from a basic mvc page to a module that can be imported into a store and things.
I spoke to someone from Miva and they said the best thing to do would be to make a post here and someone could direct me to or provide me with that kind of material.

Which version of Merchant are you designing the module for? Have you read through the API docs, database map docs, and MivaScript reference docs?
Those are your best places to start.

Miva Merchant 5
I read the script reference docs and I've looked over the database map. I also set the database up so I can view it in a GUI. That's made it much easier to leterally see what's going on behind the scenes.
When you refer to the API docs, are they API on modules themselves? That's been my roadblock thus far. I can make an mvc file to do everything I want. I just can't figure out how to set it up so it's a module. I understand that certain functions are required in a module, but everything I was able to find was very vague as to what functions were required and such.
I'll look around the web page more to see if there are any documents I missed. Thanks.
