Hello,
I'm currently running Miva 4.20 and there are a few dozen products that we have that we would like it to display "Please call for a price" instead of an actual price. In addition, I don't want the customer to be able to add the specific products to their cart.
I'm not sure how I would go about doing this so any help is appreciated.
Thanks!

You could achieve this by using Vikingcoders (http://www.vikingcoders.com) product page templates which opens up the product content part in Miva so you can test for the product price and display your message and hide the add to basket button.

This mod might be a little over kill, but has the capability to handle the "Call For Price" scenario.

For restricting the add/buy buttons, you might be able to do this with the VC Templates.

I think you could also do this by turning on the inventory, setting the inventory to zero, and setting the out of inventory message to read
Please call for a price

If you use the Inventory option make sure to change the option for Hide Out of Stock Products to No.

Thanks for the responses.
I'm not too familiar with miva and I haven't really done any adding of modules or anything like that.
It appears as though the viking coders Product Page Templates is installed but I'm not sure how to access it to create a new template/modify old ones. The product templates is version 4.934c and while I can see it in a "edit product" page and select 4 radio buttons, I cannot tell the difference between them (aside from the name).
