Has anyone used the template packs or any template modules from Viking Coders and got away with designing the entire layout in ImageReady and Photoshop?

I'm working on a layout right now, but as I'm going through the documentation about the templates, it looks as though I have to upload all the pictures seperatly and such through what they provide.

Now I made the whole layout in Photoshop CS2 and then I edited it in ImageReady CS2 to create my slices and links. Now I'm taking it to dreamweaver to fix it all up and make sure everything is how I want it.

Is Miva the same as most other hosting providers, where I can just upload or copy and paste the whole code/page and run into a few minor errors, or is Miva combined with VikingCoders a whole seperate ordeal...where everything must be done a specific way?

I'm a self taught web developer, and this seems to be, as of right now, the only way I know how to do it.
If anyone could please help me out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Bethann

The templates accept HTML - see my other post to you.

But note - using Image Ready slices increases file sizes and really limits your control and functionality - it also increases load time. You should instead create your own .gifs and .jpgs right out of the PhotoShop, and use CSS or HTML code for background colors, etc.

And yes, just like with a standard Web page, you have to upload the images. There may be confusion about this if you commonly use Dreamweaver's built-in FTP utility, which sends all images to a specific directory.
