What is the general consensus in updating from MM 5.0 to MM 5.5. For those that have upgraded, did it go smoothly, or have there been serious issues in upgrading? Looking back, would you still upgrade, or would you wait until most of the bugs had been worked out?

Personally I've been holding off on upgrading until any bugs have been worked out, because I'm terrified of ending up with a downed site. :/

Our Miva stores don't use any kind of modules, and i haven't had any serious issues with 5.5 at all.

I updated as soon as the updates were released.

Hi - I've upgraded 3 of my client's sites to MM5.5 and only had a few small issues. Most of which have already been discussed and addressed in this forum. You may want to check out this 'top 10 sticky' thread:

On a different subject.. would you be willing to share with me how you integrated your WordPress Blog into your MIVA structure? How did you get the entire php structure inside of: Screen=blog&Store_Code=GE.

I've upgraded 4 stores now and have had minor issues with all. We expect a bug fix release from Miva soon.

The 3rd party modules seem to take the most time to fix.

Also having issues with htaccess scripts breaking when upgrading.

I'd love to, except it was not I that integrated WordPress into my store, I had someone do it for me. The extent of my coding skills are limited to throwing the odd <br> tag into the text of my product descriptions. :/
