I need to archive the customer-side view of our entire site, including all product pages (i.e., I don't need underlying code or databases, just the static HTML and graphics for all pages).

Can anyone recommend a good site grab program?

Thanks,

Marv

If all you need is the actual HTML of all the pages, grab a copy of Merchant Optimizer, which will mirror all categories and products, and build actual indy HTML files for them.

Hi Marv:

I posted a couple of links on my tech blog for such tools - I used the first one a long time ago, but not recently, and have never used the second:

Let me know either way if either works for you.

I've yet to find a good archive package for Miva Merchant sites; many programs fail to crawl correctly in Merchant stores, either not following the dynamic links or following the ones you don't want them to such as add to basket, etc.

Thanks, all.

If all you need is the actual HTML of all the pages, grab a copy of Merchant Optimizer, which will mirror all categories and products, and build actual indy HTML files for them.

Will Merchant Optimizer also crawl other screens (not PROD and CTGY, but still Miva screens built in OUISM)?

Cheers,

Marv

Just FYI, I didn't move this thread to Industry News and I'm not quite sure why it was!
