How to set up pricing base on bulk weight

We would like to set up our shopping cart to calculate discount prices for those customers who want to buy our product in bulk weight.

i.e.

200 lbs = discount rate
300 lbs = discount rate
500 lbs = discount rate
etc...

Does anyone know how to set this up and would anyone be interested in being hired to do this set up?

Do you normally sell your products by the pound and you want discount applied only when the entire order weight reaches these certain levels, or when an individual product is purchased at these particular (or higher) levels?

Reason I'm asking is because there are some 3rd party modules that you could perhaps implement, but that will depend on whether you were referring to the entire order weight, or individual products as they are added to the cart...
