Hi everyone,

I installed Viking FedEx Advanced last night and for the life of me I cannot get it to return a Ground rate nor is the Home Delivery Ground option even appearing.

I deactivated CBS SSM to ensure it wasn't hindering the rates, and unfortunately even without CBS SSM filtering the shipping, my Ground rate is $0.00 and Home Delivery is not appearing. I did get the Home Delivery to appear and return rates on a few of my test orders, but all of a sudden it disappeared and no matter what I try, I cannot get it to appear again. And the regular Ground being $0.00, I am not sure why. I have weights assigned at my products (Modstop's FedEx mod was returning rates just fine until their &$%# domain expired :mad:), I have the dimensions of the box set up, read through the install docs, but no Ground. Oh, and I called my FedEx account rep and I am set up in my account for Ground and Home Delivery, so essentially FedEx should be sending the rates "if the software is set up correctly" (quote from the FedEx rep). And the Modstop FedEx module is deactivated so it should not be interfering.

Please anyone, do you know what I may be doing wrong?

Did you contact their support? They have a list of troubleshooting steps to start with.

I did before I posted here, but because I was losing orders due to the &^%$#^$ Modstop fiasco (I originally had Modstop's FedEx), I wanted to find the most expedient resolution.

But true to form, Pam at Viking came through and found the problem. User error of course; had the free shipping box checked for ground *and* had the free shipping if over filter set for $100.00, which is why ground was only returning $0.00 notwithstanding the amount of the order.

I should have listened to the MIVA gods last week when we were discussing Modstop's FedEx module in a different thread. I should have gotten out from Modstop while it was still working rather than waiting for the emergency. But alas, all is well, the Viking Mod is returning rates and I am back to being happy again :-)
