Action codes in Merchant 5

Hi folks (especially Mark) --

I see that there is apparently no "NEW" action code in Merchant 5. Is it OK to use custom values for the Action parameter, and will they be passed through to the SystemModule_Action function in the expected way, without generating an error?

Along these lines - I once had a list of all the actions in V5, but now can't locate it - anyone know where this may be?
