Attributes Disappeared When Upgrading Prod. Page templates..Need Help

Hi,

I upgraded my Product Page Templates and Cat. Page Templates to the latest version today. Something happened....The attribute prompt on the product page shows up, but the attributes don't show. Any ideas?

Does your product page template still have the %attributes% token in the template that's in use in the "Product template" section?

Yep, everything that should be there is. I think it is a upgrade issue. Still working on it.

What I noticed is...
The Select option template area is empty. When I try to put code inside the text area and hit update nothing stays. The text area remains empty.

Brady,

As a test - switch to the "no template" option for some products or categories and see if that fixes the problem. If the problem goes away, it's virtually guaranteed you have some sort of coding gremlin in your own templates that prevents the attribute prompt from being displayed.

Something else to ponder and test as well - a while back Viking Coders had to make some changes to their token parsing to make it not conflict with OpenUI tokens. Some of these changes required replacing %OUI% at the very beginning of the templates with %OUI1% (notice the "1"). This was documented on their web site and in release notes, so if you upgraded from a fairly old version to the newer one where this change was introduced, this may explain the problem you just experienced.

That sounds like a corrupt dbf - if you have a ticket open with Viking Coders, I'm sure they can help with this if you provide MM and FTP info.
