Developer needed to code a " Recent Press" section with associated product links similiar to the interface of the "As Seen In Section" at www.sagejewelry.com. (Sage is a sample site at Miva Central.)

Hi Martha-
Sage created this by using categories and products. It does not appear they have anything custom. If you don't want to do the category/product route, you can do this with the Latu.net WowWow Widget module.

Just using Page Templates should work - unless you want the links on the recent press page to be dynamic for some reason. Doing what they did on the sagejewelry.com sample site is a good idea, too - they simply created products for each page, put stuff in the product header, and put product thumbnails that displayed on the category (parent) page. I think I'll do a tutorial on that at MerchantAnswers.com (http://www.merchantanswers.com) later today...

We can do this with our "Articles (http://www.emediasales.com/hosting/articles.html)" custom modification and also as part of our Miva Merchant 5 Basic SEO Install Service (http://www.emediasales.com/hosting/seo-marketing/miva-merchant-seo-kit.html)

It's really cool and easy to use - you just create a "product" in the article category. AND you can have multiple "Article" categories.
