Instant email notification

When I subscribe to a forum, I don't get the choice for instant email notification (only daily or weekly). I only see that for subscribing to a thread. Isn't there a way to instant email notification of new threads to subscribed forum? Does it already work and I just haven't realized it yet?

They have two templates right now, one has it and one doesn't.

I don't know how that affects the instant email notification.

If you are using the Miva Style template to view the forums, you have the choice under Forum Tools when you subscribe to a Forum to select Instant Notifcation of New Threads.

If you are using the Dave Style template to view the forums, you do not have this option available. Only Daily, Weekly Or No Email. . .

Dave Style has a Red Header across the top and Green Shaded Forum listings...

I figured this one out the hard way this morning....

So far, I don't think I am getting any work done today - just trying to figure out and follow the Forums. . .

Thanks Janet. I never would have equated template and style. It makes sense, because I think only one style was available the last two days and i had the option I was looking for. I'll check it out.

You will find the option to change the STYLE of the page in the lower left hand corner of the page - scrollllllll wayyyyyy down.

I have been getting instant email notifications for 2 days. The subject line has where in the forum they are coming from such as Off Topic
