As many of you know, my DHL shipping module experienced an issue on July 4 where it could not get a shipping rate. The same issue also occurs on certain holidays.
The problem is that DHL is closed on weekends and holidays, and their API will not allow a shipping rate to be returned on these days. So the module has to "know" this in advance of the holiday and then skip forward to the next working day.
After many discussions with the DHL team, they have tentativly agreed to change their API to match what I suggested - make the shipdate optional.
There is no ETA yet (I am trying to get one), but I wanted to let everyone know that I am working on this, and DHL is as well.
