We are using the MmPASS module to power an online fan club for a client. This morning, we went in to change some header / footer links and afterwards started getting reports that the logins for customers were no longer working.
The truXoft login page doesn't use any of the miva templates: http://www.ragschwag.com/Merchant2/4.20/truxoft/txsoft.mvc?
When a user tries to log in, they get a "Sorry, unknown user name!" error. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing that or what a fix might be? We have around 600 subscribers that are without access and we are stumped.
Thanks,
Will Wright

It sounds like the script has lost its ability to communicate with the user/pass database it creates.
I'm sure Ivo will be along to help track this down.

I sent him an email this morning on it but have yet to hear back. Thought I'd try my luck here to see if anyone might have an idea in the meantime.

Vic,
Apologies to hound but we've not gotten a response from Ivo in the past 24 hours and are preparing for a big weekend with the site and are curious if you might have any ideas on this (or if anyone would)?
We've tried packing the store, etc. with the same results. Would changing the header / footer have caused anything like this? That's what we were doing when this occured.

I think vic had it as close one could without intimite knowledge of the module...if you view source of that page, you see a curious message:

Don't know if I would do an update without backing up the data first, but its worth a shot...
