I realize those two terms don't belong in the same sentence but they do actually have mivascript on Yahoo servers. I have an old site at Yahoo, formerly Simplenet, which has some mv scripts on it. They have the miva engine running since the scripts do run. But there is something bizarre going on with the SMTP stuff. One of the things the script does is send me an email when someone posts to the BBS so I can keep up with spammers and hacker attempted exploits. I am not getting all the emails. So I posted a few myself to see what was going on. I get the Relaying not allowed SMTP AUTH error message and no mail is sent some of the time. Some send and some do not. Now if they had it configured to require authorizing with a password, wouldn't I get that error every time I tried?
